Robert Stack, the actor famed for playing crime fighter Eliot Ness in the TV series The Untouchables, has died of a heart attack at the age of 84. The star's wife, Rosemarie, found him slumped over in the couple's Los Angeles home on Wednesday night.Stack earned an Oscar nomination in 1956 for his role in Douglas Serk's Written on the Wind.

He also won renewed popularity with his comic part in the 1980 spoof movie Airplane!

Paramount are set to release a double DVD of Airplane/Airplane 2- The Sequel on October 7th 2002 (Region 2 only).

Unfortunately, there are no added extras from the last release of the two movies.
